– About the event
A conference, an award and tours – in three days
The Startsmile TOP Rating Tour brings together owners, managers and doctors of Russia’s best dental clinics. By day – business and medical stages, in the evening – an award ceremony based on an independent rating, on the third day – tours of top clinics.

– Concept
“Uniting the best”
one star – two moods
In the dental community everyone is the best – and we bring them together. Hence the slogan and the neon rating star on deep purple. One system works by day at the conference and in the evening at the award: the mood changes, not the visual language.

The second photo zone is all about mood
A photo zone with the star and partner logos – for the official shots. “Kiss my TOP” was the team’s idea – a bright spot for social media.

The team’s idea: anyone who wanted a photo got snapped on a Polaroid, and the shot was stuck onto a map of Russia. By the end of the conference there were about 70 photos on the map, and the back of the photo zone became a shared portrait of the participants.

Award
An award ceremony for Russia’s best clinics and doctors. The same star and purple, but more festive: the stage, awards, certificates and table settings in a Black Tie dress code.

The impression is in the details. Even the table number and the clinic’s sign work as part of the identity.

– Results
One system for three days of the event
Today I’d start with the concept and slogan and build the materials from there. Here it went the other way round, but it still worked. An event is big, nerve-racking teamwork, but the emotions after the conference are beyond words.

Two formats – one language
The business conference and the evening award share one system: the rating star and the purple palette.

A full set of materials
Around 20 materials: photo zones, bags, badges, screens, programmes, certificates and awards. All the print is mine, and I’m proudest of the awards.

Guest engagement
50–60 Polaroids on the friends map and 70+ tags on social media. Guests loved it.
04
Event scale
Over 400 participants from all over Russia, two stages, 15+ speakers and an award ceremony for the best clinics and doctors.
